I am a practicing Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) in Whistler’s Creekside Health Clinic. I am listed on the counselling assistance program with the Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) for subsidies in accessing counselling at a reduced rate. I am a preferred provider with Mines and Associates for affordable counselling for Vail employees. I completed a master’s degree in counselling psychology with distinction.

I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and demographics. I have worked with young adults experiencing social anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, attachment styles, gender dysmorphia and transitions, and trauma. I have worked with men in the federal parole system, helping them reintegrate into society after time spent institutionalized. I have helped men and women individually in strengthening their relationships with themselves, their family members, and their spouses. I’m open to exploring anything my clients bring to their sessions. Counselling is your time, and you drive the bus!

I am passionate about creating a comfortable and non-judgemental space to explore deep emotions and experiences with empathy and curiosity. I value being open and honest with people in my personal life and professional life. Living authentically and unapologetically myself makes me relatable and easy to talk to, and I love to share laughs.

I go above and beyond to create a warm space for difficult conversations as well as empower people who need a boost or some guidance to explore patterns and maximize their potential. Counselling isn’t always about the harsher side of our existence and can be an opportunity to capitalize on your strengths to your benefit. I get excited by people who can overcome adversity by tapping into their own resources and who dedicate time for their own personal growth and self-mastery.

When I’m not working, you will find me in the forest with my dog, looking for mushrooms, chasing waterfalls and appreciating the beautiful town I’ve called home for 12 years.

I am an avid snowboarder and powder seeker in the winter and love to slow down, paddle board, and soak up the freshwater lakes in the summer. I love camping and finding secluded spots to connect with nature on a raw level. I cherish time spent with my blended family of five, with silly banter over the dinner table and fun art projects.

“Counselling changed my life 100%. It made me believe in myself again and know it’s ok not to be ok, but mostly it gave me good advice on grieving and how to move forward, how to manage anxiety because I have some bad anxiety and it gets to the point sometimes where I always feel I let people down or they think negatively of me and most of the time it’s not the case it’s just the devil in my head.”
